How to use Online Learning at Splat

When you buy one of our online courses you’ll get a log in, you can do a bit and revisit it later. If you’ve got kids at home and they disturb you, you can come back to it after bed time or get them to join in. I’ve done a couple with my 10 year old, he did great on Developing Teams!

You’ll watch a bit of video then answer a few questions and submit them it’ll give you chance to try again if you don’t pass. You get 3 retry’s and if you still don’t pass just give me a shout and we’ll talk it through and get you sorted.

What

There’s a lot of choice, there’s over 100 courses. To make it a bit easier to find them they’re separated into 3 sections Health and Safety, Health and Social Care and Business Skills. There’s more coming too. They vary from 30 minutes to a couple of hours depending on the content and most of them are only £25 to £30.

Where

You can do them on any device and anywhere you like, take your headphones and do it while you’re washing up or out for your walk or sit at the PC but sit comfortably paying attention to your posture, see our Display Screen Equipment course for how to do this.

Why

Everyone keeps banging on about using your time well. Seeking opportunities to learn and develop your skills. Well maybe you don’t know where to start. Take a scroll through the list of courses and use an hour of your time to learn…who knows it could develop into something.

How

Just pick a course, click buy now or even take a free trial to ensure it’s up your street. Create yourself a log in and take a look at module one, pause have a brew and come back later. Take your time through the modules and when your ready; complete the course. You’ll be issued with a certificate too! Print it and frame it and put it on the wall. Take a photo and share it with us on social media! Whatever you do remember, it doesn’t stop there. Now you need to put learning into action…

COVID-19 UPDATE 06/01/21

The First Aid Quality Partnership (FAQP) met on the 5th January 2021 to discuss the impact of the latest        lockdown restrictions on the delivery of First Aid training. The key message resulting from this meeting was:

“The provision of First Aid qualifications can continue to be delivered in line with existing COVID-secure guidelines”

This means we can go ahead with training, we are already following all the covid safe procedures. Remember First Aid Training is about saving lives. We must keep our skills up to date.

If you have bookings during this new lockdown we will be in touch. If you have any questions are shielding or otherwise concerned call Amy on 07796872170

Stay warm and cosy and use this time well x
