Blended Learning

Blended Learning with Splat

First aid training that fits around real life (and still makes you a life-saving legend)

So what is blended learning?

It’s online learning + face-to-face practice = the full qualification.
You’ll do your theory bits online at your own pace (in your pyjamas, if you like), then join us in-person for the fun hands-on stuff like CPR practice and bandage origami.

It’s first aid training in two parts:

  1. Online learning; interactive videos and quizzes they can complete anytime, anywhere
  2. One day in-person; practical skills like CPR, recovery positions, and using defibs

We use trusted, nationally recognised Qualsafe courses so your qualification is still fully compliant. Half of the learning is on line but the assessment still takes place face to face with a human assessor.

Same great content. Less disruption. Big win.

So how does it work?

      1. Once you book your course you will recieve your online learning registration no more than 1 month before your classroom session
      2. Get started as soon as possible so we have time to deal with any gremlins in the system should they arrise
      3. Crack on with the videos and quizes at your own pace
      4. Get it all complete before you come to the classroom session

What do I need?

          • Blended learning is best completed on a PC rather than a phone or tablet
          • We recomend using a recognised browser like Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome
          • Get comfy, ready to pay attention

Why workplaces and schools love it

🕐 Less time off the rota

Your team only needs 1 or 2* days off site, not three. That means fewer cover headaches and minimal disruption to day-to-day operations. *Depending which course you choose.

📚 Learn when it suits them

Staff can complete the online part at their own pace. An hour before work, an hour after school, a few more during quieter hours, whatever works, so long as its done before the classroom part.

🧠 Great for different learners

Some people absorb info better when they can pause, rewind, and revisit. Others thrive with practical, hands-on experience. Blended learning offers both.

💷 Cost-effective

Shorter in person time = reduced costs for you. Ideal for teams, budgets and businesses that want quality without overspending.

Who it’s ideal for

  • Primary & secondary schools looking to upskill staff without taking them all off timetable
  • Nurseries & early years settings who can’t spare multiple staff for multiple days
  • Workplaces where cover is tricky or shift-based teams need flexibility
  • Busy people who want to learn well, but don’t have days to spare

What your staff need

  • A device with internet (computer works best)
  • 6 hours for the online part (can be split into chunks)
  • One day to come and complete the practical session

Bonus: a willingness to get involved
