Our Combined Emergency First Aid At Work and Emergency Paediatric Training Course is a 1 Day programme delivered by our Qualsafe Awards accredited trainer.
Does your job role require you to look after both children and adults?
There are many job roles where first aiders have the responsibility to look after both children and adults such as schools, sports clubs or other childcare settings.
This specially designed course provides the skills and knowledge needed to provide both emergency adult and paediatric first aid. The number of training days required to achieve both qualifications has been minimised and streamlined to avoid the duplication of topics associated with attending both the Emergency First Aid at Work and Emergency Paediatric First Aid courses separately.
What’s more, this course is formed from two regulated qualifications, which employers can book for their employees and be assured that they have fulfilled their legal responsibilities for providing quality first aid training, without having to undertake any lengthy due diligence checks.
Our 1 day programme can be delivered either:
- On-site at your premises
- Or in our own beautiful Splat Training classroom.
- This is a great way to take your employees away from the workplace and enable them to fully engage and enjoy their learning experience.
- Discounts available for large groups.
On successful completion of the course, learners will receive:
- 3 Year Qualification
- An Emergency First Aid book and a Paediatric First Aid book to take away from the session
- Certificate of Qualification
The purpose of this course is to prepare the Learner to develop the skills and knowledge needed to provide emergency first aid for adults, children and babies.
The objective of the qualification is to benefit learners by enabling them to attain the knowledge and practical competencies needed to deal with a range of first aid situations when looking after adults, children and babies.
Who should take part? :
This qualification is for people who have a specific responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities, to provide first aid to adults, as well as children and babies. Perfect for anyone who works in schools, sports clubs or other childcare situations.
